Gewoon even een paar dingen melden:
a) de race van Spa wordt NIET herreden (zie daarvoor ook de Vroem-site),
b) ook in Zandvoort geldt zeker het adagium: beter traag en regelmatig dan snel, maar brokkenmaker. Waarom ? GPL is namelijk zo verschrikkelijk goed :D dat het ook de duinen zodanig modelleert dat je er goed in vast zit eens je daar grasduint. Door het zand duurt het een hele poos eer je weer de baan op bent.
Misschien had ik nog wel zaken te melden, maar die ben ik intussen vergeten :rolleyes:.
Het is misschien rijkelijk laat, mea culpa daarvoor :o.
Misschien biedt de disconnect fix wel een oplossing voor sommigen ivm het regelmatig buitengegooid worden. Hij is niet 100 % waterdicht, maar schijnt toch wel te helpen.

Gezien het feit dat het halve deelnemersveld al niet kon starten en dat daarna op twee na iedereen gedisconnect werd, behoort een heruitgave tot de mogelijkheden, ook al snij ik daarmee in m'n eigen vel (Werner is er ook mee akkoord).
Team Wernake geeft daarmee een 2e en 3e plaats uit handen, maar we zijn sportief eh :-)

Dit was echt erg. Al weinig starters en dan nog zoveel disco's.
Dus een rerun behoort tot de mogelijkheden. Een tweede plaats zonder glans hoeft niet voor mij.
Ik wacht op de beslissing van de jury.
Amai, ik heb precies niet veel gemist vandaag, lol...
Ik was in gedachten nogthans bij jullie!
Gezien het grote aantal disco's tijdens de vorige race werd besloten dat de GP van Nederland opnieuw verreden wordt. Volgende week woensdag rijden we dus opnieuw op Zandvoort.
De GP van Europa schuift dus 14 dagen op.

Ik ben tevreden met m'n race; het was een van m'n betere.
Leuk resultaat, geen enkele maal shift-r, een nieuw pr gereden tijdens de race dat zowat 4 tienden sneller was dan m'n vorige.
Enkel m'n aanrijding met Frits was een van de mindere aspecten. Excuses daarvoor; heb het aanremmen met twee voor Tarzan compleet verkeerd ingeschat vrees ik.
Met volle tanks blijk ik een volle seconde sneller te zijn dan in kwalif-trim met nagenoeg lege tanks...
Ik zal dan in 't vervolg maar kwalificeren met volle tanks zeker???
Tja, niet over naar huis te schrijven deze race. Het groene monster was op sommige momenten te onvoorspelbaar (voor mij) met als gevolg een Shift-R of 5-6. Ik heb het ook moeilijk om langs dubbelaars te gaan. Sorry voor de geramden, ik deed het niet opzettelijk. Het grootste probleem was het doseren met het gaspedaal. Bij het accelereren was er dikwijls te veel wielspin, met als gevolg een waggelgat van hier tot ginder. Ik moet dringend eens zelf gaan setups bestuderen.
Tot binnen twee weken! :D

En nu back to topic.
Een eventueel volgend seizoen rij ik gewoon met m'n echte naam om zo verwarring te vermijden.
M'n start gisteren was zwaar ruk. Het in de eerste ronde gewoon kalm aan gedaan, maar toch een fraai inhaalmanoeuvre uitgevoerd op een Ferrari. Onderweg heel wat schuivende mensen tegengekomen waardoor ik enkele malen zwaar in de ankers moest en ook zo eenmaal zelf in het decor ben beland.
In de derde ronde ook nog redelijk hard zijdelings tegen de brug geknald waardoor ik er ook afvloog en enkele goedgemaakte plaatsen verloor.
Voor de rest gewoon getracht m'n BRM op de baan te houden door het redelijk kalm aan te doen en uiteindelijk loonde dat, ook al heb ik m'n 3de plaats bijna kwijtgespeeld in de laatste ronde.
Ik moet toegeven dat ik heel tevreden was na de race :).
Idd Mario, het was close. Ik finishte 3 secs achter U, en had beter wat minder het decor opgezocht...Whoeha! eigen schuld...dikke bult...

Ik had een goeie start maar dan werd het minder. Al in de eerste ronde werd ik gepasseerd door Mario (die Ferrari dat was dus ik Mario :D ). Ik heb dan een beetje haasje over gespeeld met Roel maar toen die een keer teveel eraf ging kon ik afstand nemen. Nadien regelmatig proberen te rijden maar toch enkele schuivers niet kunnen vermijden.
Maar mijn doelstelling voor dit seizoen als rookie was een race zonder shift-R te rijden en dat is me dus gelukt.
Volgend seizoen ga ik eens proberen snel te zijn. :D :D :D
