A new beginning for Kris Princen ! From the rally of Luxemburg he will contest the whole Belgian Championship Division 1 with a Clio Group N+. Princen returns to his roots with Renault and tuner Benny Raepers after he was sacked last year with Peugeot. " Yes, I'll return to Renault and to the team of Benny Raepers. In the past I always felt good with those guys and I hope to have the same success with them as I did in the past !" Princen said on the phone. " We compete with a new car, but right now we don't know already if the car will be a step 1 or 2. That depends on the budget, witch isn't already cleared for 100%."
Princen started in 1993 with a Renault 5 and went to Benny Raepers in 1994. In 1996 he won the Championship Group N with a Clio Williams. In 1999 he won the Belgian Championship with a Renault Maxi Mégane.
