Een kleine impressie:
Nauwelijks op voorhand kunnen trainen en ook hier in de kwali's niet. Op de valreep nog voorbij de twee Ferrari's op de startgrid geraakt.
Bij de start kom ik goed weg en deel per ongeluk, zonder erg weliswaar, een tik uit aan een Lotus. Ik heb de starts met de BRM nu goed onder de knie, wat jammer is, want veel te laat :(. Ik heb de indruk dat je er iedereen mee weg accelereert.
Tijdens de race maar twee fouten gemaakt (geen shift r), waarvan een me wel enorm veel tijd heeft gekost omdat ik niet wist in welke richting ik moest rijden.
Halfweg echter me ook nog verkeken op een remmanoeuvre toen ik een snelle, maar door mij te dubbelen Eagle voorbij wou bij de chicane. Ik kwam op de aarden wal terecht en er restte me niets anders dan te shift-r'en.
De volgende ronde staat een Ferrari dwars op de start-finishlijn en bij het wegrijden lijkt hij me toch wat diagonaal te gaan. We raken elkaar met de wielen denk ik en tweede shift r is het resultaat.
Normaal gezien had ik maar op 1 ronde van de winnaar geëindigd, maar ja, zulke dingen gebeuren en meer als de 4de plaats viel er voor mij ook niet te rapen. Het ritme van de jongens voor me kon ik sowieso niet volgen. Wel heeft Werner me verrast door ettelijke ronden op dezelfde afstand van mij te blijven rijden (een handvol seconden).

Nauwelijks 5 ronden op Snetterton gereden voor de race.
De kwalifs gingen redelijk. In de race kon ik Mario vrij goed volgen tot ..... stuurfout. Geen shift R gedaan en verder gereden.
De wagen deed wel moeilijk maar we gingen ervoor.
Dan terug een schuiver en ik stond bovenop een berm.:o
Ik moest wel shift R'en. :D
Dan ging het weer goed tot een aantal ronden voor het einde. Weeral op een berm terecht gekomen.:mad: Terug shift R.
Dan rustig uitgereden.
Over het algemeen zeer tevreden over mijn eerste seizoen.
Nu nog die ovaal waar ik voor de zege ga.:D :D :D
