De gewone deltawing kon mij wel bekoren. Maar deze versie is toch echt een gedrocht:

DeltaWing Racing Cars has revealed a coupe version of its radical design that will premiere this week at Sebring. A show car version of the coupe will be on display starting Thursday in the Austin Hatcher Foundation booth near the paddock, on vendor row just across from the back side of the pit lane structure.

What the **** is me dat. Het is te zien dat Nissan zich heeft teruggetrokken uit dit project, evenals Michelin. Ik dacht dat Mazda nu de motorleverancier is.

In de gewone Deltawing zit nu een Mazda. In de coupe komt een Elan motor.

Besides the new hardtop configuration, the car is set to be fitted with a new engine designed and built by Elan Motorsports Technologies. On the current open-top DeltaWing, the team has updated its engine to a Mazda-based a 2.0-liter turbocharged aluminum block for racing in the LMP1 class.
