Dodge Rammunition - Lindberg 1/24

[Cusco]

Hoi iedereen,

hier ben ik weer na een bouwdip met mijn plastieken modellekes. De Wolf Countach staat even in de ijskast tot ik een paar vervangonderdelen heb.

Daarom even een andere kit, nl de Dodge Rammunition van Lindberg in 1/24.

Wat opvalt zijn het aantal onderdelen en de grootte van de body en wielen.

De body is zo'n 25cm lang en de wielen hebben een doormeter van een dikke 7 cm :D

Ik ben al bezig aan de motor en de body en ik ben ook bezig met een poging om wat meer detail aan te brengen. :D

De body is ondertussen al zwart en de grille is al behandeld met chrome-pigment van Uschi Van der Rosten. Het is wat donkerder als ik had gehoopt, maar het resultaat mag er toch zijn.

De volgende stap zijn de decals, het zijn er niet veel maar wel grote.

Ook de luchtinlaat van de supercrahger heb ik een beetje aangepast. Poging tot scratchen, moet nog geschuurd worden.

De body is gedecalled en heeft al enkele laagjes blanke lak gehad.

Ook aan de motor is verder gewerkt. De verdelerkap is gecorrigeerd ;-), ontstekingsdraden zijn aangebracht (eerste keer dat ik dit doe) en de stukken wat in elkaar gezet. De supercharger is gescratchd, vind het niet slecht voor de eerste keer al zeg ik het zelf ;-)

We bouwen gestaag verder ;-) en ondertussen ben ik al tot dit resultaat gekomen.

Het interieur met toegevoegde gordeltjes en extra leidingen voor bediening van de assen. Ook de brandblussers werden van een kleurtje voorzien voor als het te warm onder de billen wordt. :D

De "thuiskomertjes" zijn ook geverfd. Ik denk er nog aan om het profiel even te laten kennismaken met meneer schuurpapier. :8

En de body heeft kennisgemaakt met schuurpapier 3200 tem 12000, 3 polishing compounds en turtle wax.

Ondertussen is het chassis ook al in vergevorderde staat, maar omwille van de complexiteit staat deze nog even te drogen met allerlei soorten klemmen en plakband er aan vast. Foto's volgen eerstdaags.
