CART board to approve sale to Bernie? Pook denies takeover is in the air
The board of Championship Auto Racing Teams in Indianapolis will shortly be asked to approve the sale of 51 percent of the stock in the US sanctioning body to Bernie Ecclestone, claims the Toronto Sun newspaper in Canada. Last week CART CEO Chris Pook reacted to increasing speculation along these lines by saying: "There is not now, nor is there going to be, an official collaboration between F1 and CART."
