Hockenheim private test day 1 Nov 14th

Day one of this private test saw Tony Schmidt again in one of the Astromega cars. Alex Sperafico made his debut for the team during this very wet and windy first day of testing.
Tony continued to run trough his test program that he was doing in Imola two weeks ago. With this bad weather there was no issue to go for a fast time, in fact Tony had an engine problem in his eight lap and had to cancel the rest of the test. The team is now flying over some spare parts so Tony can be on track again tomorrow to take up his test program.
Alex, new to the team had a strong first day of testing. In mind that the track conditions where not nice to make a debut in a new team, he did very well. Keeping out of trouble on the track he lapped 27 laps today. With no major problems hit, the team and driver where very happy with the test.
Tomorrow beside Tony and Alex, Jan Heylen will make his debut in F3000. The weather forecast tells us that it will stay dry whole morning, so we expect a good test from all three drivers.
