Donington Winner Excluded
From the FIA GT website we learn that the Biagi / Bobbi Donington Park (and every other race this season) winner has been excluded from the results after the engine was sealed and then examined after the race.

BMS Scuderia Italia has appealed against the exclusion and the outcome of the appeal will be known well before Spa - on July 15 in fact.

Currently that means that the #21 BMS Ferrari of Calederari / Bryner and Livio wins the Donington race, with the Alliot / Hallyday / Zacchia Viper second, the #7 GNM Saleen third and the Creation Lister fourth.

That reduces the #23 pair's Championship lead from 26 points to 14 - still ahead of the #21 drivers - but the Lister drivers are all much closer now.

Ferrari Reinstated (Donington)
The International Court of Appeal met in Paris on Tuesday, to examine the appeal on behalf of BMS Scuderia Italia, which had been excluded from the results of the Donington round of the FIA GT Championship.

Having heard the explanations of the parties and examined the various documents and other evidence, the Court annulled the decision of the Stewards and reinstated Matteo Bobbi / Tomas Biaggi’s win.

The Court also examined the appeal concerning the nr 18 Zwaan's Racing Chrysler Viper, but in this case, the Court upheld the decisions of the Stewards.

So #23’s record of winning all five races this year is intact. The top six now reads:

1 23 GT BMS Scuderia Italia Thomas Biagi / Matteo Bobbi Ferrari 550 Maranello 112 laps 3:00:08.238 149.95 kph
2 21 GT Care Racing Lilian Bryner / Enzo Calderari / Stefano Livio Ferrari 550 Maranello 111 laps
3 4 GT Force One Racing Festina Carsport Philippe Alliot / David Hallyday / Steve Zacchia Chrysler Viper GTS-R 111 laps
4 7 GT Graham Nash Motorsport Tommy Erdos / Mike Newton Saleen S7-R 110 laps
5 6 GT Creation Autosportif Bobby Verdon-Roe / Marco Zadra Lister Storm 110 laps
6 50 N-GT Freisinger Motorsport Stephane Ortelli / Marc Lieb Porsche 911 GT3-RS 109 laps 3:00:37.273 145.55 kph
