Spanish GT Championship - Valencia
1st Race
Jordi Gene's polesitting SEAT led the race from lights to flag, Gene edged clear at the start of the race handing the car over to team-mate Vivancós with a healthy lead. At the end the SEAT had an advantage of almost 23 seconds.

There were electrical problems however for the second SEAT Toledo GT. the car was running in a strong second place by the mid-point of the race but finished way down the order (16th and 9th in GTA class).

Marcos Racing International was another luckless team:

After hearing first that their new car was not eligible to score championship points, they then lost second position on the very last lap. Mechanical troubles sending the car down to fourth place. It was a great last lap for the Porsche 911 GT3-RS of Francesco Gutierrez though. He passed not only the stricken Marcos but also the similar Porsche (ex-Parr Motorsport) of Miguel Paes Amaral to claim second spot for Motor Competition. Amaral then powered home third for ASM TEAM, the Portugese squad happy though with their Porsche's new updates ahead of the FIA-GT Estoril meeting.

Classification:
1. Jordi Gené – Gines Vivancos (Seat Toledo GT), 27 laps 46.47.386 minutes
2. Luis Villalba – Francesco Gutierrez (Porsche 911 GT3-Rs)
3. Miguel Pais do Amaral – Pedro Couceiro (Porsche 911GT3-Rs)
4. Ni Amorim – Cor Euser (Marcos LM600)
5. Manuel Mello Breyner – Pedro Mello Breyner (Porsche 911 GT2)

2nd Race
It was a rain-affected and confused second race. The "madness" arrived in the middle of the race before the race organisers called an early halt to proceedings.

Ni Amorim and Cor Euser looked to be cruising to an easy victory as the chasing SEAT of Gene and Vivanços opted not to attack, the Marcos being ineligble for championship points.

But in the end a late (too late) driver change cost Marcos Racing International dearly, a three lap penalty dropping the big Chevy engined Marcos down the order. It would be a second win of the weekend for Vivancós and Gené.

The second Toledo of De Castro and Balba González finished back in sixth place. De Castro delayed after a tyre change at the end of the pit lane.

Jordi Gene though summed up the weekend for the Darro Motor Racing team:

" We have had two very intense races. In the first, however everything went very well for us, the car has behaved perfectly. In the second, the rain complicated things but we made the pitstop in the correct moment. Thanks to that we have obtained a good result again. I want to dedicate this victory to our team manager Jaime Puig".

The Meycom's Porsche 911 GT2 of Mello Breyner brothers was second just in front of Porsche 911 GT3-Rs (ex-Freisinger) of Cirtek Motorsport.

Motor Competition and ASM Team's GT3-Rs both suffered problems. Miguel Paes Amaral had an off, and lost three laps then ASM Team decided to retire the car from the race.
