We gaan waarschijnlijk weer een tactisch spelletje te zien krijgen om niet als eerste de baan te moeten schoonvegen?

Grönholm gelijkt dit jaar toch wel erg veel op zijn landgenoot in de F1 (en dus niet Raikkonen eh);)

Loix op een 7e plaats, maar had na een betere start op de 2e dag maybe 5es kunnen staan, mor swat, punten in zicht dus voor loix.

Thanks, maar in de rallysport spreekt men niet van "stints" maar wel van "KP's" (klassementsproeven) of "speciales" (Special Stages)...

Burns crashes on this stage and is now
3 minutes from the leader.

ichard Burns has just lost his hold on the third place in the Acropolis Rally standings. The rally isn't over yet so anything can happen, maybe…

The Subaru driver crashed off the road half way through this stage. He subsequently lost a heavy 2mins52 in the stage, the car's gearbox causing problems. In the standings, it's not looking good for burns. Following this incident, he is now a hefty 3 minutes from rally leader Colin McRae and will be kicking himself. He had clocked the best time in SS14 and moved 2secs closer to his British rival to bring the gap down to 12.8secs.

Petter Solberg on the other hand only went and set the fastest time. Burns' Subaru team-mate soared through the 39-kilometre stage in 25'37”5. Colin McRae took the second time, 4.9secs away. Francois Delecour, no longer suffering from the wrist troubles that tortured him on Friday, was third fastest.

Gilles Panizzi finally retired on the liaison towards SS15 after he and co- driver Herve Panizzi lost a lot of time trying to repair the suspension damage sustained in the day's first mini stage. The French crew took the painful decision to stop because they couldn't reach the start of SS15 in time.

Phillippe Bugalski managed an excellent 7th while Tommi Makinen finished one place behind in 8th. TheFinn said that he didn't want to push too hard.

Makkinen kan nog 5es worden precies

Ik weet nie, maar Delecour is bezig aan een ENORME remonte hoor!

kwetet, gisteren heef tdie ook enkele KP's of SS gewonnen.

Zonder die minuut dat em verloren had dan zou em miosschien 4es gestaan hebben.
Morja pech hoort bij rally hé.

In elk geval heeft Burns zijn grote mond duur betaald gekregen, want gisterenavond verklaarde hij nog (als 3e met Ford 1ste en 2de) : "ze kunnen bij Ford beginnen te denken aan teamorders, om uit te maken wie er 2de en wie 3de mag worden!"

Burns is meer ne grote mond dan ne grote piloot.
Freddy heeft nog eens pech. 3 minuten verloren door ne lekke band.

Burns out in SS19.
Transmissie problemen.

Sainz valt uit in de laatste special:(

Voorlopig is het WK-rally toch wel wat spannender dan de F1, zou ik durven zeggen : 1. Makinen en McRae (ieder 30 punten) en Sainz volgt met 26 punten.
