69. Mosport International Raceway (Bowmanville, ON, Canada)

Mosport was planned in 1958 by the British Empire Motor Club and when finished in 1961 was 2.459 miles or 3,957 km long.
Just about all major North American series raced at Mosport ... from Can-Am in 1966 to ALMS at present.
In 1967 Mosport celebrated Canada’s Centennial by hosting 2 world championship events, the Canadian Motorcycle GP, and
The inaugural Canadian GP F1. Gilles Villeneuve made his debut with Ferrari at Mosport in 1977.

91. Lurcy-Lévis (Lurcy-Lévis, F)

Circuit gelegen in het uiterste noorden van de Auvergne. Telt een 5-tal lay-out’s, soms ook nog met een korte of langere versie.
Dit circuit heeft een rechte lijn van 1.500 meter, uniek in Europa, en wordt regelmatig bezocht door F1 constructeurs voor
aerodynamische tests.
Blijkbaar wordt op dit circuit geen competitie gereden.

La Ligne Droite – 1500 meter
Le grand circuit – 2400 of 2600 meter
Le circuit ouest – 1300 meter
Le très grand circuit – 4200 meter
Le circuit école – 1100 of 1300 meter

92. Nogaro - Circuit Paul Armagnac (Nogaro, F)

Ingehuldigd op 3 oktober 1960, toen met een lengte van 1752 meter.
In 1973 wordt het circuit verlengd naar 3120 meter ... en vervolgens in 1989 naar 3636 meter.
Dit circuit heeft verschillende bekleding naargelang het een recht stuk of bocht betreft.
Momenteel vooral bekend door bezoek van FIA GT, FFSA GT, Truck GP en de Shell Eco-Marathon.
Ontving in 1978 en 1982 het WK Moto.

Dat verschilt zo'n beetje per land volgens mij. De foto's van Duitsland zijn bijvoorbeeld al een paar jaartjes oud: als je bijvoorbeeld de Nürburgring bekijkt, zie je nog geen Mercedes-Arena, en Hockenheim ligt er ook nog helemaal.
Als ik dan een foto bekijk van hier in de buurt zie ik dingen die misschien hooguit een jaar oud zijn. In Google maps dan.

93. Autodromo di Pergusa / Enna – Pergusa (Pergusa, Sicily, I)

Dit circuit met een lengte van 4950 meter is gelegen aan de boorden van het Siciliaanse Lago Pergusa.
Gebouwd in de jaren ’50, werd het circuit bekend door de Coppa Citta di Enna en later de Coppa Florio.
Onder de naam Mediterranean Grand Prix, bezocht tussen 1962 en 1965 ook F1 het circuit voor een niet-kampioenschapsrace.
Nadien wijzigden de regels naar F2, en in 1985 naar F3000.
Het circuit verloor zijn licentie in 2004 en werd verplicht zware werken uit te voeren.
