Lavaggi - A Minardi At Le Mans?

We're indebted to the likes of David Legangneux (in this case) and other French contributors for supplying the latest news from the French press.

David tells us that a new French monthly "Ouest Auto" (January issue) reports that Minardi is building a car for Giovanni Lavaggi, for an entry at Le Mans this year. Lavaggi apparently met the ACO at the end of October.

The 44 year old Italian has raced at Le Mans five times, the most recent outing in a Racing Engineering Porsche in 2000.

He has F1 experience with Minardi and is a former Rolex 24 winner, but is better known for his FIA SCC exploits in a 333SP Ferrari.

Lavaggi, idd lang geleden dat we daar nog iets van gehoord hadden. Moet wel leuk zijn als ge zo ff een F1 team kunt benaderen en vragen of ze voor u een Le Mans auto kunnen maken...

Dan hebt ge wel de verkeerde kampioenschappen gevold.:D :D :D

Waar heeft hij dit jaar dan gereden? Niet dat het echt belangrijk is maar kom :)

was een van mijn eerste weekenden met een camera om mijn nek......................

Dat van dat Chassis nr. wist ik niet precies, wel dat er een Judd achterin lag.
