De plannen voor een WK zijn uitgesteld tot 2007. Het zou te kort dag zijn om voor 2006 het benodigde aantal fabrikanten te vinden. Op dit moment hebben alleen Maserati en Aston Martin een intentie-verklaring afgegeven. Gesprekken met General Motors schijnen positief verlopen te zijn, dan denk ik meteen aan Chevrolets voor de GT1.
Ratel heeft tevens een zijn gedachtenkronkels uitgelegd aan Chrylser en Ford, dit met het oog op de GT3 klasse. E.e.a. volgens de Autosport van 02-06-05
