Racing History:
Val Hillebrand started in karts only 4 years ago, performing well in the Belgian championship before moving to Le Mans to join La Filière and racing in the Formula Campus. Not happy with the organisation of the series and the lack of track time, Val joined Jan Lammers Racing's Formula Ford team in 1999. He was among the frontrunners all year, finishing in the top 3 overall in the
Dutch, Belgian and Benelux championships. He debuted in the German F3 Championship with JB Racing last year, finishing 3rd at the Nürburgring.
Having tested in a JB run F3000 all winter, Val decided to join Racing for Holland this year for the FIA Sportscar Championship and Le Mans. Val is originally Dutch and has just apllied for a Dutch passport.
