GP Masters,qualifying + race in Kyalami
De eerste vrije trainingen zitter erop. Mansell, Warwick en Fittipaldi voeren de lijsten aan. Wie staat er stijf onderaan? Grote mond Alan Jones  Ondanks dat ie 8 seconden trager was dan de snelste. Na 6 rondjes had Jones al pijn in de nek.
Toch is Jones weer goed voor een pittige uitspraak:
