WRC insiders had suggested that he would head up a privateer operation next season, running two Fabia WRCs possibly for Andreas Aigner and Francois Duval, with backing from Red Bull, should Skoda opt to withdraw from the sport.
"I am definitely not running my own team [next year]," he confirmed, "But I could be running something but I am not running my own team. I think you will hear something quite soon."
