Jordan to launch in Brussels
Jordan Grand Prix are one of the final teams to officially unveil their 2002 challenger to the press but according to Autosport, Jordan Grand Prix will launch their EJ12 chassis not at their Silverstone based headquarters, but at Zaventum airport in Brussels on Friday February 22nd.
Jordan are expected to announce backing from Deutsche Post World Net, DHL and Danzas, but the location of the launch could well suggest a tie up with another international firm while it remains to be seen whether Benson and Hedges will remain with the team.
The team have been running the new EJ12 chassis for some weeks now with 2002 drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato claiming that the car is a step in the right direction. However, with Sauber running well with their C21 chassis, Jordan will have a tough fight to regain fourth position in the constructors' battle from their Swiss rivals.
