An A1 GP source confirmed to autosport.com that organisers have booked the Northamptonshire circuit for a two-day test on August 30/31 - a month before season two kicks off in Zandvoort, Holland on October 1.
It will be the only pre-season test for the series and all existing and any new franchise holders will be present.
A 2006/07 calendar is expected to be announced later this month.
