Mclaren's new and very expensive designer overalls may have to be thrown out thanks to complaints from the mechanics that they are dangerous.
Hugo Boss put six months and over $200,000 into designing the one-piece overalls. Each suit costs about a 1,000 English pounds. The suits are lined with numerous zippers that have cut and broozed the team mechanics.
"There are designer zips across the knees so the trousers can be turned into shorts, but they cut my legs when I knelt down to work on the car," one mechanic told News of the World.
While the suits are supposed to last for five years, Mclaren's recent reliability issues have affected their clothes as well.
"The first time I put on the outfit it ripped across the shoulders," the same mechanic explained. "I had to throw it away."
