Gestaag werkt men aan het testprogramma van deze WRC, enkele dagen geleden heeft men getest in Zuid-Frankrijk (Ales - Cevennes) . Twee testcoureurs van dienst waren Nicolas Bernardi en ene Francois Duval 
Uit deze test mogen geen conclusies getrokken worden wie uiteindelijk een WRC-zitje gaat bemachtigen bij Suzuki. Duval schijnt als referentie gediend te hebben voor de bevindingen van Bernardi.
