Het vakblad 'Auto, Motor en Sport' meldt vrijdag dat voorzitter Max Mosley de elf teams hiervan vrijdag op de hoogte heeft gesteld tijdens een vergadering in Parijs.
Tien van de elf teams zouden de mededeling verwelkomd hebben. Volgens het vakblad dat de plannen naar buiten bracht, is alleen Ferrari tegen.

Zeer benieuwd hoe de FIA zoiets wil gaan controleren, echter op de lange duur lijkt me dit een zeer verstandige beslissing. Deze wapenwedloop van onbeperkte budgetten begint zijn tol te eisen. Toyota laat reeds de eerste barsten zien
