De start van het seizoen Porsche Supercup 2009 mag dramatisch genoemd worden, slechts 13 wagens aan de start in Bahrain. Dat is wel een zeer harde klap of onzachte landing.
Het is wel opmerkelijk om te zien waar de klappen vallen, er is niet echt een lijn te bespeuren. ALMS is dramatisch, LMS is stukken gezonder. BGTC en BTCS krijgen mokerslagen toegediend, DSMEC & Dutch GT4 groeien en bloeien.
