Dit zijn wedstrijden waarbij je op het puntje van je stoel/bank zit te kijken. Het bewijs dat je met twee merken en 2008 spec.-auto's boeiende wedstrijden kunt leveren is gisteren wel bewezen. Zowel Norbert Haug en Dr. Ulrich lieten het spel aan hun rijders over. Zij besloten in de slotfase geen radiocontact meer te hebben. Het was ieder voor zich. DTM Norisring 2009 gaat een klassieker worden. Het bewijs dat je veel merken voor een goed kampioenschap nodig hebt is afgelopen weekend wel om zeep geholpen.
