Today there is a second unofficial demo that is out. Yes that is right, there are 2 demos out now. The first demo had some missing files, textures, skins, few maps, and among other things was not a complete demo. On the other hand, the 1gig+ second demo seems to feel more like an almost complete package, with many more maps, AI, physics, Karma, and other items. From hands on experience, I am really going to like the final product and cannot wait to buy it when it is released.
