Jaguar has denied that it has made any approach to Helio Castroneves with regard to a drive in 2003 and stated that the Indy Racing League star is not in the running for a seat in the team.
Team spokesman Nav Sidhu told AUTOSPORT.com: "We have not approached Helio Castroneves, nor do we have any intention of offering him a test."
Castroneves was reportedly told by his IRL boss Roger Penske that Jaguar was interested in him at Indianapolis this weekend.
The Jaguar board is due to meet on Friday, and when asked if the Castroneves situation would be discussed Sidhu said: "Absolutely not.
