Edwards in for final two rounds
Red Bull winner to finish the season with KTR team
Red Bull F1 driver search winner Paul Edwards will race with Team KTR in the final two rounds of the Dallara Nissan World Series and has secured a place in the team for the whole of 2003.
Californian Edwards, the last of the four Red Bull finalists to find a seat, will make his series debut at Curitiba at the start of December and will also race at Interlagos the following week.
Team KTR boss Kurt Mollekens said: "I'm really pleased to have Paul. I've seen him race and he's very good. I want him to treat Curitiba like a test session and I'm confident he'll be comfortable by Sao Paulo."
The American's drive is being funded by the energy drinks company as part of their driver search programme. The scheme, which is aimed at helping an American driver into Formula 1, has placed four drivers in various European championships for the 2003 season.
Edwards will be partnered at KTR by Dallara Nissan frontrunner Bas Leinders.
