It's not Albers and it's not Verstappen
Speculation regarding Minardi's announcement continues to rage as various driver names come to mind as possible contenders for the two available seats. There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks that young Dutch driver Christijan Albers is in line for the drive and has even signed the contract, however according to his manager, it won't be his name announced tomorrow.

“No it's not, not tomorrow,” Lodewijk Varossieau told us. “We are very far (in negotiations) and I think he will drive next year, but he is not the one being announced tomorrow.”

So, is it Jos Verstappen? We have heard from a very reliable source that the former Arrows driver isn't the one to be announced either, and Varossieau doesn't think so either.

“No, I don't think it's Jos, its another driver,” he said.

Anthony Davidson is out of the question as he doesn't have the funds, and our sources tell us it won't be Justin Wilson or Bryan Herta either. Alex Yoong is headed to the CART series, leaving Enrique Bernoldi as another potential, however the Brazilian is also in the running for a Jordan drive. We'll know the answer tomorrow!

En op het Verstappen-forum zien ze hem al bij Williams
