Blauwe Jordans in 2003

De kans is vrij groot volgens autosport.com:
Red Bull eyes tie-up with Jordan

Energy drinks giant Red Bull has renewed its interest in a tie-up with Jordan that could offer the team the financial lifeline it needs, according to this week's AUTOSPORT.

The Austrian company still harbours ambitions to build an all-American Formula 1 team and is now looking at Jordan, which lost title sponsor Deutsche Post at the end of last season.

Jordan's sponsor problems mean its cars will no longer have to carry a predominately yellow livery – Red Bull boss Dieter Mateschitz prefers his cars to be in the company's metallic blue colours – while the team is also attractive because its customer Ford engine deal for 2003 could provide Red Bull with a vital link to a US car manufacturer after its talks with General Motors failed to progress.

Although high-level sources claim Mateschitz has previously been offered a 60 percent stake in Jordan as a platform for his all-American plans, team boss Eddie Jordan strongly denies this.

"I've never spoken to Red Bull about equity, never," said Jordan. "We'll announce something quite spectacular in due course, but I will do whatever I need to stay in business."
