Button is said to be fully conscious and in good condition. He is understood not to have broken any bones
Jenson was taken to the circuit medical centre before being taken to the Princess Grace hospital in Monaco. It is not known what caused the accident but it has been suggested that a suspension failure or a puncture made him lose control.
11:11 : Button's father was watching the incident from the BAR-Honda motorhome, and said he had been told by the team his son was in a good condition.
