Former Successful Ferrari Formula-1 Drivers as Guests
On Monday, December 1, the ex-Formula-1 World Champion John Surtees was a guest at the fair. The Briton who is now 69 years' old won the title in 1964 in a Ferrari. At the Essen Motor Show, he was, of course, especially interested in the special show "55 Years of Ferrari in Formula 1" in Show Hall 1A. Another three former Formula-1 greats who were successful in Ferraris will come to Essen in the next few days: Tony Brooks (runner-up in the World Championship in 1959) on December 2, Clay Regazzoni (runner-up in the World Championship in 1974) on December 4 and Patrick Tambay (Grand-Prix winner in 1982) on December 5. Jacky Ickx (runner-up in the World Championship in 1970 in a Ferrari) was already a guest on the opening day.
