Waarom licht Provera in eerste instantie de Belgische pers in? Is dat uit schuldgevoel, zo van jongens uwe Freddy is er niet bij in Mexico maar ik kan er ook niks aan doen...

Ik ga zeker niet kwaad zijn op Peugeot. Immers, Freddy heeft 'maar' een contract van 3de rijder, is door omstandigheden 2de geworden, en wordt nu terug op zijn 'normaal voorziene' status geplaatst. Ze willen bij Peugeot enkel de titel van huisgenoot en aartsrivaal Citroën terugpakken, en gelijk hebben ze. Wellicht dat ze gedacht hadden van hoger te staan op dit moment van het seizoen, en komen ze nu, onder druk van de directie, op hun beslissing terug en zal Freddy 10 rallies rijden die initieel voorzien waren. Dus dwz dat er nog 8 overblijven. Negativisten zeggen 'maar' 8, ikke zeg 'nog' 8. Beter dit dan helemaal niets, zo is hij tenminste nog in het circuit en wie weet wat er nog allemaal kan gebeuren.
Enfin, ben natuurlijk wel superontgoocheld, maar kan er wel enige reden in zien ook. Wellicht zien we hem terug in Cyprus.
