Schumacher bij Man U. , Beckham in een F1 2001
Quote:
Reigning World Champion Michael Schumacher will swap jobs with England football captain David Beckham for a day this summer.
According to a report in the British Mirror tabloid, Beckham, who took possession of a Ferrari Modena 360 at Christmas, will drive a Ferrari Formula One car at the team's private track in Fiorano, Italy.
In return, football-crazy Michael Schumacher will spend a day improving his soccer skills during a specially arranged training session with Manchester United.
The swap is being orchestrated by Ferrari and Manchester United sponsor, Vodafone, whose deals with the two teams amount to US$150million, and US$45million respectively. While the specifics of the exercise have yet to be worked out in full, a Vodafone source was quoted by as saying, "David Beckham and Michael Schumacher are two of the world's best known sports stars and it would be fantastic to give them a taste of each other's careers. Our sponsorship of Ferrari started on January 1st and while we are delighted with the presence we have on the car, we are always looking to maximise the marketing opportunities in an interesting way."

wel eens plezant om te zien denk ik. Maar kheb toch den indruk dat ze bij Ferrari de F1 2001 wat gaan terugschroeven. Backham kan misschien goe autorijden, mor em eeft nooit in een echte racewagen gereden he!!
