Katherine Legge schrijft geschiedenis!!
2005 kon weleens het jaar worden dat dames definitief doorbreken in de autosport. De eerste overwinning in een single-seater klasse van enig nivo is op naam gekomen van de Engelse Katherine Legge. Kan me nog een geweldige schuiver van deze dame herinneren tijdens een F3 race op Rockingham (UK), achterwaarts sloeg zij over de kop met haar wagen.

In de race voor de Toyata Atlantics op Long Beach is zij als eerste over de streep gekomen. De klasse staat weer in de belangstelling na enkele zwakkere jaren.

Met dank aan suikeroom Kevin Kalkhoven...........die gast is ook de eigenaar van Cosworth Tja, dat zal Atlantic Kampioen Charles Zwolsman wel niet zo leuk vinden.

Hoop overigens dat ze blijft rijden in de Atlantics in 2006. Dat kon weleens het single-seater kampioenschap van 2006 worden. Ook met dank aan ome Kevin

test met Katherine Legge
"Minardi gaat Katherine Legge testen. Eind november gaat de snelle Amerikaanse op Vallunga haar F1-debuut maken.

Daarmee wordt Legge de eerste vrouw sinds 1992 die serieuze F1-ervaring gaat opdoen. (bron: formule1.nl)


Zou het nu eindelijk zover zijn. Een vrouw die eens een goeie kans maakt op een F1-zitje.


ik hoop echt van wel, want dat is nog iets wat de F1 mist!!!!
ze is nog niet mis ook van uiterlijk

Hoe ging het ook alweer? Vrouw aan het stuur, wagen in de muur? Ik maak op voorhand al mijn exuses aan de dames hier op het forum

Overigens is de informatie niet helemaal juist op autosport.com. Van de zomer heb ik mevouw Zwart toch echt voorbij zien komen in een F1 Ferrari.

De komende twee jaar zal ze actief zijn in de Champcars voor het team van PKV Racing.
