Hmm, valt nog te bezien, wagen beschikt over carbonfiber chassis, dat is in GT2 (nog) niet toegestaan. De nieuwe McLaren zal de 'goalposts' waarschijnlijk wel gaan verplaatsen, dan is de Porsche natuurlijk ook meer dan welkom. Aan de looks zal het in ieder geval niet liggen!

De 918 RSR is helemaal niet bedoeld als GT wagen. Hij is bedoeld om voorbereiding op een LMP1 wagen volgend jaar. De hele aandrijflijn pas perfect binnen het reglement: electromotoren op voorwielen en 3.4 V8 DFI uit RS Spyder (LMP2).
