Mitsubishi stopt met WRC?
Sven Quandt in "Autosport": "De komende week is cruciaal voor de deelname van Mitsubishi aan het kampioenschap. Kappen met WRC is een mogelijkheid die in Japan wordt onderzocht. Er wordt al een week of 2 over gediscussieerd, maar de situatie verandert van uur tot uur. We hopen begin volgende week tegen maandag of dinsdag de beslissing te kennen."
Zie volledig artikel op pitstoptv.be en Worldrallynews.com . Het zou me niks verbazen. Financieel staat Mitsubishi aan de afgrond en sportief gaat het in het WRC ook niet goed. Ik denk dat ze zich beter kunnen richten op Rally Raid en op nationale rally kampioenschappen met de Evo's.

Voor Mitsu is de Deutschland rally de laatste WK rally van het seizoen. Vanaf september gaat het team zich toeleggen op de verdere ontwikkeling van de Lancer voor 2005.
Mitsu komt dus ook niet aan de start in Japan! ( Bron: mitsubishi motors )
