Eindelijk!!!
Eindelijk beseft Ferrari dat ze terug naar hun roots moeten. Ze gaan waarschijnlijk, voor zover ik nu weet, een eigen versie van de 550 Maranello ontwikkelen. Rafanelli zou de auto's inzetten in de FIA GT. Wordt vervolgd.... En THX aan Oneliner voor dit fantastische nieuws. Last edited by Werner333; 13-11-2001 at 22:50.

Die foto is wel "maar"
nen 360 Modena geprepapreerd door ZEST Racing en gereden in het Britse GT kampioenschap. Niet veel soeps. Toch wel raar dat het enkel op de Franse versie van F1 live staat.

euhm volgens mij gaat het toch een "Prodrive Ferrari" worden die door de Factory Ferrari wordt ingezet. Het team zou dan best Rafanelli kunnen zijn................
bron fastcompany.nl "Europees toerwagenkampioen Peter Kox testte gisteren en vandaag (woensdag) op de Pista di Fiorano, het officiële testcircuit van Ferrari, met de Prodrive-Ferrari 550 Maranello in GT-uitvoering. Kox was zeer tevreden met het verloop van de test op de 2,976 km korte testbaan, waar hij slechts vier honderdsten van een seconde langzamer was dan Ferrari’s eigen testcoureur Luca Badoer. “De ervaring om een keer op Fiorano te rijden was heel speciaal”, meldde Kox na afloop. "

Dit is eigenlijk geen nieuw nieuws, en per definitie dus geen nieuws. Dit is al zeker een jaar bekend. Ferrari had de keuze tuseen Rafanelli en Prodrive voor het bouwen van de wagen, en ze hebben duidelijk voor de kapitaalkrachtigste gekozen.
De Prodrive 550 is een beetje sneller dan de Rafanelli, maar ik denk dat uiteindelijk de wagens aan elkaar gewaagd zullen zijn. De Rafanelli zal waarschijnlijk betrouwbaarder zijn, omdat die al twee [?] jaar meedraait. PJ

volgens mij reed Rafanelli voor het eerst mee dit jaar. Schijnen nogal "bankrupt" te zijn. In 2000 reed "wiedth" wel al mee.............
Had ergens gelezen dat Michelotto ook aan het bouwen was geslagen............. Wellicht Rafanelli als een "factory-team" van Ferrari?......met het concept Prodrive als wagen

Vers gelezen in de autosport.
Ferrari houdt een "contest" tussen Prodrive 550M en de Rafanelli (ItalTechnica) 550M. De beste van de twee wordt de "customer car" van Ferrari.......... M.a.w. dan gaat Ferrari het projekt "onder zijn hoede nemen"
