Dit was voor mij de beste race tot nu toe van het huidige seizoen. Geen enkele keer shift-r moeten doen (dus ook geen opgeblazen motor, stelletje amateurs ) en een redelijk regelmatige GP.

Wel enkele malen zwaar tegen de paaltjes gereden, maar m'n BRM hield het tot het einde. Tijdens de race ook alweer een snellere tijd gereden als m'n trainingstijd. Da's niet de eerste maal, verre van. Jammer genoeg nauwelijks een duel uitgevochten. Enfin, ik was gisteren een tevreden mens. Kim moet maar meer weg zijn met Arthur als ik race, want zonder tv die opstaat naast me, kan ik me heel wat beter concentreren.

Ben weer even verzoend met m'n BRM-tank .

Afschuwelijke eerste ronde. Dan viel het mee. Mijn PB verbeterd.
En dan ja.... Iemand die stilstond geramd en daarna was de concentatie weg.
Maar ik begin wel te wennen aan mijn Ferrari en de volgende keer ga ik voor een race zonder shiftR.

De Vroem-website is weer bijgewerkt nadat er een tijdje problemen waren.

Voor- en nabeschouwingen, klassement en binnenkort het fotoalbum zouden weer up to date moeten zijn.

Disco doordat de kabel verbinding even compleet wegviel. Jammer, want ik was teruggevallen en had me door het veld heen moeten vechten terwijl ik hier niet zo snel was. Had interessant geweest

Verder moet ik bekennen dat ik niet zoveel tijd meer heb voor TVRL. Nu het Dutch.GPL en het Dutch.N4 kampioenschap begonnen zijn, ik nog steeds naar school moet en er ook nog een vriendin op na tracht te houden (wat overigens heel aardig lukt ) ontbreekt het mij de tijd om voldoende met de BRM te testen. Ik heb even nagedacht om over te stappen op de Lotus, maar daarvoor heb ik eigenlijk ook geen setups voor de komende banen om zo mee weg te kunnen rijden. Enige wagen waarmee dat zou kunnen is de Ferrari. Uiteindelijk heb ik besloten dat ik het BRoMvlieg team niet in de steek wil laten. Alleen zullen de resultaten de rest van het seizoen misschien niet meer zo geweldig zijn. Solitude ligt me wel geloof ik, we zullen zien Afijn, uit die TVRL depressie ben ik weer te boven gekomen dus

Moet me nog wel even iets van het hart. Kijkende naar de grid van Oostenrijk, zien we erg grote verschillen tussen de verschillende wagens. Nu had ik voor deze baan ook niet kunnen testen, maar dan nog. Nu was dat hier nog niet zo'n heel groot probleem, zolang een baan genoeg bochten heeft heb ik voor mijn gevoel altijd nog een kans. Op Talladega is echter iedereen die niet in een Lotus of Eagle rijdt in principe (als er geen ongelukken gebeuren) kansloos. Op een speedway zou het al erg zijn, maar Tally is een superspeedway. Daarom waarde wedstrijdleiding; roep ik op om van Talladega (wat ik overigens een erg leuke toevoeging aan de kalender vind hoor, maar dat uiteraard terzijde) een specrace te maken!

Ik hoor nog van u Hmm, moet maar eens gaan slapen...
