Ik ga altijd met de auto en heb de laatste jaren gebruikt gemaakt van de tunnel. Deze keer wordt het de ferry. Ik vertrek op vrijdag, logeer bij een collega marshal, en ga pas maandag weer terug. Als je volledig met de trein wilt gaan zal dat wel via Parijs gaan, denk ik.

Van de A1 site haal je deze info:

By Car: Brands Hatch is on the A20, just 3 miles from junction 3 off the M25. The circuit is well signposted from the M25.
By Train: Regular services operate from London Victoria and the Kent Coast to Swanley Station (approx 5 miles from circuit).

Op het Verstappen forum hebben een paar mensen het over vliegen naar Londen en dan verder met de trein.
Vliegen is voor mij geen optie omdat ik nogal veel spullen meeneem (baankleding e.d.).

Info: maak eerst op voorhand klaar of je kan / mag komen als BK. Er wordt namelijk met bepaalde criteria gewerkt voor deze race. Kwestie van alle "toeristen" weg te houden en eerst de vaste medewerkers te belonen.
Indien nodig stuur maar een PM, ik ben er toch.

Heb ik al maanden geleden geregeld! Ze kennen me daar, na ruim een decennium minimaal één keer per jaar aanwezigheid, goed genoeg. Ik heb de bevestiging van Mildred binnen.

ik ga hoogstwaarschijnlijk naar brands hatch.. maar dan als gewone fan.
nog geen idee of met de tunnen of pondje maar in iedergeval met de auto.

enig idee wat er nog meer op het programma staat naaste A1 GP?

BTW Frank, ik zie je dan daar wel.

Tunnel is het snelst, ferry is leuker indien men dit meer als uitstap bekijkt. Ik ga telkens met de tunnel: winst per reis (enkel) 1u30 minimum. Maar ik doe dit dan ook tig maal per jaar.

Tot nu toe niet Mark, buiten de hogervernoemde reeksen is er nog Thoroughbred GP (F1), Caterhams en iets Ferrari achtig. Maar er is nog veel gespekuleer over de neven races.
Ik zal proberen dit weekend iets meer te weten te komen.

Klopt, maar tot nu toe zijn dat maar 8 of 9 wagens. En racen is ook niet het echte woord. Gisteren, in Lydden Hill, konden mensen van Brands mij enkel vertellen dat nog niet veel definitief is van het neven programma. En vermits er vandaag een kleine motowedstrijd is te Brands is mr JP niet daar.
