Wtcc Zandvoort
De russen komen er aan.

Ze nemen met vier BMW 320i WTCC-auto’s deel aan het hele kampioenschap van de Dutch Supercar Challenge. Daarnaast rijden ze twee races in het WTCC. Het team zet drie auto’s in tijdens de race op Circuit Park Zandvoort en twee BMW’s tijdens de race in Valencia.”
Het doel voor 2008 is een volledig WTCC-seizoen.
Tel daar bij op nog een seat voor de ex F1 piloot en misschien duncan Huisman in een bmw, dan staan er toch al 26 wagens aan de start.

En Monteiro voor Seat, en als we Autosport.nl mogen geloven is de kans daar dat we Huisman in een 2e RBM BMW mogen verwachten. Hangt van het budget van Huisman af. Verder heeft men het er op 10/10's over dat Diego Romanini wel eens op zou kunnen dagen in de 3e N-Technology Alfa Romeo.

Tijdens het verslag op Eurosport sprak de Nederlandse commentator over geluiddempers voor de WTCC-wagens op CPZ. Kan dat moeilijk geloven, geloof niet dat ze daar ooit mee getest hebben.......

De wagens reden tijdens de tests ook al met geluidsdempers, of in ieder geval met aangepaste uitlaten. Dat zou een generale repetitie kunnen zijn.

Verdorie Tielemans, je schokt de race-wereld! Ben benieuwd of hij er in de quali weer zo bij kan staan. Goede prestatie verder van de Chevy's, ben benieuwd wat die kunnen gaan doen morgen in de race.

Tielemans snel onderweg. Maar dan valt het wel wat tegen van James Thompson. En wat geweldig dat Coronel de snelste Leon rijder is.
Ik zal mogen denk ik spannende races te zien krijgen wanneer ik daar benm wat de top 11 zit binnen 1 sec van elkaar.

Ik ben onaangenaam verrast door de snelheid van de Seats. Na al dat testwerk had ik wel wat meer verwacht. Als het niet snel verbeterd kunnen ze hun titelambities terug opbergen

Wel een pluim voor Monteiro. Geen slecht debuut bij de touring wagens.
