Nieuw groot kampioenschap in het Midden-Oosten / Azië?
Volgens de woorden van Jean Alesi wel. Sterker nog, hij heeft een 3-jarige deal gesloten met de tot op heden onbekende organisatie.

Tijdens de 24 uren van Bahrein hebben er 5 Chevrolet Lumina CSV V8's deelgenomen. Dit zijn Holden Commodores met een Chevrolet badge.

Theautochannel.com is wat laat dan, of het nieuws klopt niet, want die wagens reden al lang en breed rond daar toen ik er was tijdens de FIAGT race in 2005.

Ik lees termen als Stockcar, V8, 700 PK en een presentatie in Charlotte? Lijkt me allemaal nogal NASCAR gerelateerd.

Aha, nu is het dus duidelijk wat het kampioenschap is wat in het begin van dit topic is besproken is.

Jammer dat men niet gekozen heeft voor ex-Busch of ex-Cup wagens, de fiberglass body vind ik namelijk niks.


Rond Mass' z'n ASCE is het trouwens erg stil.

The inaugural calendar, to kick off in November and supported by F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, will feature 9 events.

Deze stockcars draaien ongeveer dezelfde tijden als de Australische V8 Supercars.
