Op 14 december vind het jaarlijkse evenement weer plaats. Net als afgelopen seizoen opnieuw in het Wembley stadion.

Hamilton geen deelnemer aan RoC:

Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton will demonstrate his McLaren Formula One car ahead of the Race of Champions next month.

The Briton, who will not be taking part in the main event, will complete a run in the championship-winning MP4-23 before he takes on another challenge.

Hamilton will then be racing triple Olympic cycling gold medallist Chris Hoy around Wembley Stadium.

In een race of champions verwacht je toch dat ook de kampioenen van dit jaar meedoen. Maar yvan muller, lewis hamilton, timo scheider,.. ontbreken precies op het lijstje

Duitsland heeft al Schumacher en Vettel dus is het logisch dat Scheider afvalt. De 2e coureur naast Loeb is nog niet bekend maar ik verwacht Bourdais. Dus dat Scheider en Muller afwezig zijn is te verklaren, echter Hamilton? Ook nog eens voor eigen publiek.

Ik begrijp wel niet waarom ze elk jaar Michael Schumacher nog laten opdraven. Ok hij is wel meervoudig F1 kampioen en een icoon, maar geef de nieuwe kampioenen zoals een Scheider en dergelijke toch ook eens een kans om het seizoen in RoC af te sluiten.

Gisteren was het de ROC, Duitsland heeft nog eens bij de landen gewonnen, en Loeb is nog eens champion of champions.

ik vond de wagens van dit jaar behoorlijk tegenvallen ! 2 buggy's, dan nog zo een ktm, ook redelijk buggy achtig, dan een fiat (hoe komen ze er op) en een focus wrc.

The 2009 Race of Champions will be held at Beijing, immediately after Formula 1's inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, organisers announced today.

The event, which was held in Wembley Stadium in London, England, in the last couple of years, will be the first international sporting event to be held in the Bird's Nest stadium since the Olympic Games last summer.
