Chevrolet in IRL
Vanaf 2012 wordt Chevrolet motorleverancier, naast Honda, voor de IRL. Het wordt een twin turbo V6, ontwikkelt met de hulp van Ilmore/Penske.

Er zijn ook geruchten dat Alfa Romeo komt met een motor gemaakt bij Cosworth. Als het zo is ,hopelijk met beter resultaat dan in de jaren 80.

Volgens Autohebdo komt nu ook Lotus als motorleverancier naar de IRL. Wordt morgen aangekondigd.
