Fabrizio Giovanardi (Honda) is de ETCC kampioen. Mooie races van Oriola ook. Beiden eindigen met één overwinning en een tweede plaats maar Giovanardi krijgt de titel wegens één punt voor de pole. Giovanardi was bij het begin van deze eeuw één van de speerpunten van Alfa Romeo in het European Touring Car Championship en won de titel in 2000 en 2002.

Qua kwaliteit stelt dit kampioenschap toch niks voor:
http://www.autosport.nl/news/23173/d...tcc-titel.html Er was zelfs een deelnemer die wilde deelnemen met een wagen uit het oude DTCC (ongeveer 10 jaar terug)!! Leuk voor die jongen maar wat doet zoiets in een modern kampioenschap?
