Mika Salo is the new ex-F1 man joining sportscar racing as he is nominated to drive the Audi Sport UK R8 at Sebring and Le Mans. Perry McCarthy joins him at both races, while Jonny Kane gets his first R8 chance at Sebring – because Frank Biela is driving the Infineon Joest car in Florida (but not at Le Mans).

Herbert and Lehto are the expected Champion pairing for most ALMS races, with Johansson joining Lehto and Pirro at Sebring and Le Mans, because Herbert drives the Bentley.

Biela and Marco Werner drive the Joest car in all the ALMS races.

To make it clear.....

Audi teams competing in the 2003 American Le Mans Series (ALMS):
Infineon Team Joest: Frank Biela (D) / Marco Werner (D)
Team ADT Champion Racing: Johnny Herbert (GB) / JJ Lehto (FIN)

Audi teams at the 12 Hours of Sebring:
Audi Sport UK: Jonny Kane (GB) / Perry McCarthy (GB) / Mika Salo (FIN)
Infineon Team Joest: Frank Biela (D) / Marco Werner (D) / NN
Team ADT Champion Racing: Stefan Johansson (S) / JJ Lehto (FIN) / Emanuele Pirro (I)

Audi teams at the 24 Hours of Le Mans:
Audi Sport Japan Team Goh: Seiji Ara (J) / Jan Magnussen (DK) / Marco Werner (D)
Audi Sport UK: Frank Biela (D) / Perry McCarthy (GB) / Mika Salo (FIN)
Team ADT Champion Racing: Stefan Johansson (S) / JJ Lehto (FIN) / Emanuele Pirro (I)

Will the drivers remember who they're driving with at each event?

This seems to pave the way for the Bentley announcement of their final line-up in the second car, at Sebring and Le Mans.

Dus een 4e overwinning op rij van Biela/Pirro/Kristensen is uitgesloten in Le Mans : ze rijden alle 3 in een verschillende wagen...

Ik vond de vroegere Gulf livery veel meer "catchy".
Dit lijkt me iets te somber grijs, zeker vermits er geen andere felle kleuraksenten te bespeuren vallen.
