Daytona 500
Het is weer zover. Volgende week is het "the great American race". Vandaag moesten het qualificaties zijn, maar wegens regen is het nog efkes wachten. We hebben natuurlijk wel live webcambeelden

Het blijft maar regenen. Quali's zijn uitgesteld naar morgen. een extra woordje uitleg over die quali's want die zijn wel speciaal: Enkel de eerste 2 zijn rechtstreeks geplaatst voor de race. De rest van het veld worst donderdag in 2 races opgesplitst. Iedereen die inside gekwilificeerd is tegen elkaar en iedereen die outside staat tegen elkaar. Zo worden de rest van de plaatsen opgevuld alsook nog een deel die er ingeraken met provisionals of nog op hun tijd van morgen.

qualifying gedaan. Jeff Green op pole en Dale Earnhardt Jr. outside pole. De rest van het veld rijdt donderdag in de de gatorade twin 125's voor de overige plaatsen.

Die site van nascar.com is ongelooflijk snel. 5 min na het einde van de qualifs al de volledige uitslag

het regent ondertussen. Rode vlag na 64 van de 200 ronden. Race gaat verder als de track droog is. Voorlopige leider : dale junior.

ook zwaar ongeluk gebeurt. gelukkig zonder gewonden. Ryan newman heeft niks na al dit :

weer regen. rode vlag hangt uit. ALs ze niet meer herstarten heeft M.waltrip gewonnen. 110 ronden van de 200 zijn gereden.

UPDATE: track begint op te drogen. Nog 91 ronden te gaan maar ik ga toch maar eens slapen. Zal jullie morgen wel op de hoogte houden van de nieuwtjes. Vor verdere coverage: www.nascar.com
