Fabrieks-Bentley versuz, oeps versus (beroepsmisvorming zeker?) privé- Audi? Ik tip op Bentley.
En de Pagani? Zo lang mogelijk rondjes rijden zodat er van een serieuze testsessie kan gewag gemaakt worden zou ik al heel sjiek vinden... Uitrijden zou al een klein mirakel zijn.

Let's get a few facts straight about Bentley: The car is designed and built by Britain. In fact Peter Ellery is the Chief Designer. A fellow Brit. The cars are made in Norfolk by Racing Technology Norfolk (RTN based in Hingham, Norfolk, England) and Apex Motorsport (based in Buckingham, England). The engine is german but is not under Dr Ulrichs orders but that of the Chief of Engine Design (Motorsport) called Baretski (sp??) who is german. Take the engine away and all components are not designed and made in Germany. The wheels are Italian. The brakes are AP brakes from England. The gearbox is an Xtrac box made in Reading, England. The fuel cell is ATL made and they are from Milton Keynes in England. Basically, the car is as English as a car can get. Did you know that the Audi is nothing more than a deisgn house and that everything except the engine is made elsewhere? The tub is Italian! http://stockcarfans.motorsportforum....threadid=65670

Zal tussen Audi en Bentley gaan al hoop ik dat Marc Goossens met de Riley & Scott met Jan Magnussen als teammaat minstens even goed presteren als vorig jaar toen Marc mooi derde werd.
Al gun ik de Britse Audi van Perry McCarthy ook een mooie triomf. Als je zijn biografie "Flat out - flat broke" gelezen hebt gun je deze man eindelijk een mooi resultaat
