Hoe ze het klaar spelen weet ik niet maar de mensen van www.italiaracing.net hebben de eerste crash-foto van dit weekend online staan. In de training voor de FRenault 2.0 knalde Adrian Zaugg er in de eerste chicane / paddock chicane er vanaf. Frontaal in de binnenkant van de bocht.

Helaas geen Heylen bij Avelon. Gezien de tijden moet de baan kletsnat zijn geweest.........Draco is niet eens buiten geweest.

Ik dacht dat die FR2.0's 1'30-tijden reden, op droge baan... Gisteren reed Ammermόller 1'31 en toen was het toch droog?

Wat een volk zeg! Zelf maar een stukje van het circuit qua publieke belangstelling kunnen zien................maar deze massa op een zaterdag heb ik nog niet vaak meegemaakt op Zolder. Zou die F1 demo nou zoveel volk trekken?

Qua paddock inrichting, geloof toch dat er een verbetering inzit t.o.v. 2004. FRenault 2.0 en de Meganes gaan de baan op in de Bianchibocht, de FRenault 1.6 gaan de baan op bij de Rindt-chicane.........monteurs e.d. van de FR 1.6 gaan via de baan terug naar de paddock na afloop. Dus veel verkeer zal er niet zijn ter hoogte van de OTO-bar.........

Jaap Van Lagen die zijn ervaren World Series collega Gommendy aftroeft, helemaal niet slecht. Benieuwd of Jaap the Driftmeister morgen een mooi liedje kan laten klinken

De winnaar van de FRenault 2.0, ene Ammermuller reed wel heel erg imponerend. Als je in zo'n klasse op zo'n korte tijd een dergelijke voorsprong kunt realiseren dan moet je toch iets anders zijn (of hebben ) dan de rest.

Pfffff, die gasten kijken wat teveel naar de F1. Wat circuit te klein? Zowat elk circuit is tussen de 4 en de 5 kilometer. De andere circuits op de kalender zijn net zo lang............zeer benieuwd wat ze dan gaan doen op Monaco en Bilbao Lijkt wel of de jonge garde coureurs op dit moment meer ballerina-trekjes vertonen dan "race-mentaliteit" van de echte bikkels uit vroeger dagen.

Maar ja, als die heren op volle racesnelheid blijven doorknallen bij geel en zelfs rood moeten we niet verwonderd zijn dat er brokken vallen. Zal maar niet spreken over de Spaanse inbreng van RPM en de aanwezigheid van Delettre dit weekend

Kan iemand bevestigen dat La Rosa niet gestart is omdat zijn eigen vader hem verbood te starten omdat 'het te gevaarlijk is om te racen op Zolder' ?
