Het blijft niet bij A1 alleen ..............A2 en A3 zitten er ook aan te komen. A3 moet binnen twee van start gaan, nivo? FFord met vleugels
 Over A2 heeft de Sjeik nog niks losgelaten..........e.e.a. according to autosport

Ik concludeer uit het Autosport artikel:
- Ze draaien hun rondjes enkel in Zuid-Afrika (daarna in andere delen van de wereld?). - Vooral bedoeld voor coureurs uit 3e wereld autosport landen als voorbereiding op de A1 serie. - Na het stoppen van Formule Volkswagen in 2003 keert VW nu weer terug in single seater racerij.

De A3 Racing Series is vooral bedoelt om piloten klaar te stomen voor de A1GP.
Net als de A1GP zal het testen hoofdzakelijk in Kyalami gebeuren, omdat Zuid-Afrika een zeer groot aandeel heeft in deze serie en nu ook in de A3RS. Ik verheug me al op de start van het A1- en A3-seizoen

Maxime Soulet gaat in 2006 van start in de A3 GP serie die in Zuid-Afrika van start zal gaan. Na kampioen te zijn geworden in de Belgische FR 1600 heeft ie in 2005 zijn rondjes gereden in het Amerikaans F BMW kampioenschap.
2006 in de Sud-Afrik met iets wat lijkt op een F3 wagen. Toch een stijgende lijn te bespeuren........ Bron: MAXIME SOULET - Cap sur l'A3 Racing Series en Afrique du Sud avec le Team Belgium !

Behalve Verstappen was er nog een lage lander die een overwinnig heeft behaald in Durban. Maxime Soulet was de winnaar van race 2 in de A3GP serie. Dat is de een nieuwe naam voor een oud concept
Dat is gewoon de oude Formule Volkswagen.
