Hallo Eddy,

Ik heb een c/p gedaan van 10-10ths. Geen idee of dit de juiste en meest actuele versie is. Ik zie het wel als ik daar ben. We krijgen wel lange dagen, verwacht ik. Ben jij er alle drie de dagen? Ik ben er zelf alleen op zaterdag en zondag. See you over there.

Ik ben 3 dagen aanwezig. Het lijkt er op dat de timing nog een paar maal gaat veranderen volgens Mildred gisteren. Die GTO zever is nog niet zo zeker. Het wordt wel een beetje F1 achtige komedie ivm op post gaan en dergelijke dingen. Gisteren waren ze op Brands nog serieus aan het bouwen aan tribunes en de VIP village op Southbank.

Alles live op RTL7 te zien en commentaar van Kalff...........godzijdank geen SMS6 en Olav Mol. Is dit ook een op bepaalde specifieke locatie in België te zien ? Zo toch zo graag eens in mijn oranje feestpakje willen juichen

Uitzending RTL 7:

zaterdag 24 september, tussen 17.00 en 18.30 uur (kwalificatie)
zondag 25 september, tussen 14.25 en 15.15 (sprintrace)
zondag 25 september, tussen 15.45 en 17.25 (race)
maandag 26 september, tussen 22.30 en 23.30 (terugblik in 'RTL Autosport)

Alle tribunes uitverkocht, men verwacht (maar?) 30.000 man op zondag.
Voor hen die van uit Belgie of Nederland gaan: er zijn werken in de geburen van de omloop op / aan de M20.
Best via M20 (uitrit 3) naar de M26, eerste afrit nemen en verder (rechts) via de A20 (Wrotham) naar Brands.
Scratchers Lane (achterzijde omloop) is off limits voor niet kaarthouders.

Laatste weersvoorspelling: vrijdag regen, zaterdag droog, zondag regen. En veel mist 's morgens. Dat kan dus leuk worden, mist blijft soms erg lang hangen in de kom van Brands.

Wat btreft bezoekers, ze verwachten er 80.000 volgens de laatste berichten op autosport-atlas.com. De eerste keer dat de serie van start gaat.......heeft die Sjeik zijn zaakjes aardig in orde.

Het aantal toeschouwers was vrij hoog, niet wat men verwachtte, maar toch mooi om nog eens een vol huis te hebben; wel leek iedereen zeer enthousiast over het hele gebeuren. De open paddock was natuurlijk mooi meegenomen en de pitwalk zeer geliefd. Nog al wat anders dan het oersaaie F1 prive gedoe.
En het weer viel mee: vrijdag mooi, zaterdag eerst droog en dan regen in de namiddag, zondag droog tot aan de voorlaatste race.

Kan best zijn, maar ik denk eerder over de drie dagen. Tussen Druids en GHB was er bevoorbeeld nog plaats vrij. Paddock Hill stond vol, enkele rijen dik.

De hoog bejubelde Gt250 was niet vet. Wel 32 wagens waarvan 11 GT3s van de Porsche Cup. Slim bekeken, die rijden namelijk volgend weekend tijdens het BTCC weekend.
Voor de rest 2 Mosler, 1 Corvette, een Ultima die na 1 ronde uitviel, wat andere Porsches en de 6 Challenge Ferrari's.

We zouden in België ookw el is A1GP kunenn te zien krijgen. BBC zou erg geintresseerd zijn.

Dit heb ik al ergens in 1 vd topics gezegd.
Ps, nog een weetje, ik heb vernomen dat Zytek plannen heeft om de motor nog zo'n 100 pk sterker te maken volgend jaar. (ongeveer 650 pk dan)
