alhoewel, het begint er steeds meer naar uit te zien dat hij weldegelijk dood is. Hij was zelf piloot van de helikopter

Tragisch noodlot slaat toe voor Colin McRae en zoontje

Vanmiddag rond 17:15 Nederlandse tijd is een helicopter in Schotland neergestort, naar verluidt met daarin vier personen waaronder; Rallylegende Colin McRae en mogelijk ook zijn vijf jarige zoontje. Volgens de politie zijn er geen overlevenden onder de inzittenden.

Het lijkt er op dat zijn vrouw en dochtertje niet aanwezig waren ten tijden van de crash. Volgens diverse bronnen zou Colin een zeer uitstekend piloot zijn en is het geheel onduidelijk wat de oorzaak is van de crash.

Colin McRae werd zeer bekend door zijn zeer succesvolle rally carriere en tevens een stel zeer goede games. Van GameParty wensen wij zijn vrouw, dochtertje en zijn familie het beste. Colin McRae is slechts 39 jaar geworden

In Spa absoluut niks, zelfs gewoon champagne. Nog eens bewezen dat er in F1 niks menselijks meer zit...

...Ware het niet dat de commentator dacht de boodschap "farewell Colin" bestemd was voor Colin Edwards, die de MotoGP verlaat op het einde van het seizoen. Gelukkig wist de 2de commentator wel waarover het ging...
